Dietitian tips

  • Add some colour: Blend in a few strawberries for a watermelon-strawberry combination.

  • Make it fun: Add in sliced kiwi, strawberries or small pieces of fresh fruit to the moulds before pouring in the watermelon mixture.

  • Hydration: Watermelon has a high water content, making these a refreshing snack on hot days.

  • Little taste buds: Leave out the mint and lime for a milder, sweeter flavour.’
